The sides were very evenly balanced from the start, after 10 minutes Logan Charman broke the deadlock and scored for Folkestone, however Cliftonville fought back, equalised then scored again to take the lead. This galvanised the Blues into action and Graig Waitt scored to level the game, sadly, just before half time Cliftonville took the lead to go into half time in the lead.

The Blues defended well with Oisin Doyle making some excellent saves, and Folkestone had several short corners, but could not find the equaliser, until Graig Waitt scored to level the game, just before full time.
