The ladies 5s were up against a tough Herne Bay 3s team for the last league game this year.  We battled hard in the wind and rain in what was going to be a very even game. Player of the match Vicky Jones stood out in defence and with some great runs through the middle we created lots of chances. Herne Bay scored first from a penalty corner but after some determined play we were able to equalise from our own penalty corner with a lovely strike from Janet Fuller.  Both sides had their chances and Emmelia Bates made some great saves with Alex Roberts and Hannah Downey working hard to stop the opposition from scoring again.  The game ended 1 - 1 which leaves us top of the league at the halfway stage.  Another great team performance from the ladies 5s.
