Great pre-season friendly to blow away the cobwebs against a very determined opposition. I say it was great because it was the first time a number of us had played together competitively, and one which highlighted a few areas within our individual, and team, games that we need to address as we near the start of the season. The effort and determination for the duration of the match was fantastic and a great credit to the team!

I'm happy in the fact that, as a team, we left knowing that we are much more capable than this 1 - 0 defeat. Credit to Old Wills, who hit the ground running, scoring a well taken goal very early on, which came from a really simple passing movement. We created a number of scoring opportunities, but that final touch, or the Old Wills keeper, eluded us. Great confidence & composure by Kaya with his shots, Alfie and G were also very unlucky not to score, but the real positive is that they all got themselves into the right positions to have those chances.

Once again thank you to the whole team for your effort and determination, lets focus as a team on working together respectfully to deliver the great hockey that we know we can play!
