Two talented young Optimists have been selected for the next phase of England Hockey National Age Group (NAGs) assessments for the 2023-24 season. Ambrose Davis is trialling for the England U16 Boys, hoping to make the final cut for the second year in a row after representing his country this summer. Meanwhile, Maddie Richardson is through to the next phase of assessments for the England U18 Girls. Both players recently represented the Holcombe Talent Academy at the EH Talent Academy Festival in Nottingham.

It is an incredible achievement for both Ambrose and Maddie, who have been a part of FOHC from a very young age, and everyone at the club wishes them the best of luck in the next stage of the NAGs process.
